We support reforestation
In addition to delivering some of the cleanest heating oil available today, Tasha Fuels & Propane is taking steps to offset our carbon footprint.
We have sponsored the planting of a forest in Costa Rica to balance the emissions from our delivery trucks. The tree species in this forest were chosen for their fast growth and other eco-conscious criteria. One species of tree originated in New Guinea and can grow to over 250 feet and store captured carbon dioxide for more than 100 years!
Our sponsorship helps Reforest the Tropics manage this research program, which is consistent with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
